Let The Workshops Begin!

Our Pittsburgh workshops will officially start this Friday, April 5th, at the Homewood YMCA! Because the education initiative is focused on cultural exchange through an exciting learning environment, our first workshop will focus on the introduction of Nicaragua. It will also include an art workshop that encourages the exploration and expression of each students’ world by the creation of a community map. We are planning to bring this community map to Rosa Grande to share with the kids there as a way of fostering cross-cultural ties. We will update this blog regularly with our experiences from each workshop as we progress through the series!
